Los Feliz

Known for its expensive historic homes, celebrity residents, and hillside location, Los Feliz is easily one of the most desirable neighborhoods in L.A. thanks to its proximity to Griffith Park, a 4,310-acre urban park that houses the Autry National Center, L.A. Zoo, Bronson Canyon, Greek Theater, Griffith Observatory, and some of the best views on earth. Many of the homes are 1920s Spanish Colonial and Lloyd Wright’s Mayan Revival Ennis House is located here. Its pedestrian-friendly village (yes, people actually do walk in L.A.) is teeming with tattooed hipsters, young families, and musicians who enjoy sharing pizzas at Little Dom’s, shopping for vintage at Una Mae’s, and taking in jazz from Marty and Elayne (made famous in Swingers) at the Dresden. Fun fact: “Famous for being famous” Angelyne gets her coffee at the local Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf so sightings are pretty much guaranteed.
