Photographer Gray Malin’s Home Showcases His Personal Style and Love of Greenery
By Bill Cary
This stylish five-bedroom home in the Melrose Village Design District is owned by the fine-art photographer and author Gray Malin.
“He doesn’t normally do home design, but this is his personal residence,” said listing agent Josh Gaunya of DPP Real Estate (formerly known as Deasy Penner Podley). “He has really taken the house and done his own thing there, with paint colors, his line of wallpapers and the overall scheme.”
Mr. Malin bought it from a developer who planned to live there, “so everything is very high quality.” Mr. Gaunya said. “Gray bought it as sort of a white box and then really styled it out over time. Now he has a growing family and needs more space.”
