On a quiet cul de sac in Pasadena’s tony Linda Vista neighborhood, this 1932 estate is in a great spot overlooking the Rose Bowl and, in the distance, the San Gabriel Mountains.

The residence was designed by Joseph Kucera, a “society architect and specialist in period revival styles” who, according to the listing, worked as a Hollywood set designer in for Columbia Pictures and MGM during the Great Depression.

The property sits on almost an acre of land dotted with mature trees and gardens. Loggias and covered patios offer great posts from which to enjoy the landscape.
